Every time a new scrapbooking book comes out, I try as much as possible to find out more about it and see if it’s something that is truly valuable. Does it contain new information? Will it be able to help me improve my scrapbooking? What can I get out of it?
The newest book I found, while searching on the Internet, is one titled, “Master Class with Irene Tan”. It seemed like a good buy at first glance, so I decided to dig a little deeper and found out more about the author.
The information I found out was pretty impressive, if I do say so myself. Irene Tan is an established pro scrapper and a designer for several manufacturers of scrapbooking products. She’s also a scrapbooking instructor and has taught scrapbookers from all over the world (Russia, Sweden, France, etc.).
Like I said earlier, that’s an impressive resume. I’d have to admit that her book seems like it contains quality information that scrappers of all levels can use, and if a book like that comes along, then I would say that it’s a great buy indeed.
If there’s one thing that we all love, it’s learning a secret or two about our hobby straight from the pros. This book apparently has a lot of those inside, and you also get to learn more about the concepts and creative process behind each layout. That’s always a big plus for me, because you can learn a great deal out of information like that.
